The Dodge Viper already has a lot going for it -- aggressive exterior styling, a high performance engine, and a legendary namesake. Now car buyers have yet another incentive to buy the Viper – a lower price. Butler Dodge dealers can help connect consumers with a Viper and pass along great savings to buyers.

Fiat Chrysler, Dodge’s corporate parent, recently knocked down the price of the Viper, reducing the cost of buying one of America’s hottest vehicles by $15,000. The MSRP for a new Viper now is around $85,000, while the top-shelf Viper GTS is about $108,000.

The price drop has increased sales of the Viper: about 108 models of the high performance vehicle in one month -- almost double the sales of the high performance specialty vehicle in previous months. The price cut will apply to both 2015 and 2014 models of the Viper.

Dodge hopes to sell 2,000 Vipers per year. The price cut has helped move the brand closer to that goal, and changes to the 2015 model may draw in more consumers. The 2015 model will include a new GT package, a mid-level between its base model and GTS trim. The new Dodge Viper will also see a small boost in horsepower, as well as greater fuel economy.

The Viper represents the pinnacle of Dodge’s performance engineering and provides excitement and fun for owners of this high-end vehicle.
